Glen Dobrusky

The late Glenn grew up on the beaches of Southern California. In 1969, he left his home state to surf the great waves of Hawaii. It was there that he met the Japanese Hawaiian woodcarver, “Paul of Hawaii” and became his apprentice. Glenn’s studies began with the forging of his own tools. Then, with the master directing his talents, he and Paul carved some of the magnificent Tiki statues that are seen throughout Hawaiian Islands. Glenn now lives on the Pacific Northwest Coast where his skill, imagination and passion have created these original driftwood sculptures.
