For over 20 years Freedom Song Boatworks have created model boat kits which have as their subject, the elegant and simple, small craft of America. Most of the boats modeled are traditional and look quite beautiful in a contemporary setting. Most of the kits are suitable for both beginner and experienced alike. In developing the instructions, it was decided that most of the construction information would be shown on the plans. Therefore, if the simple plans are understood, so the building process will be clear. Those with imagination, common sense and a positive attitude should have no problem. There is one caveat for modelers who prefer a written explanation at every junction.
